There are two restaurants at Waltikka: the bistro Scettro and restaurant Walentina for parties and special events.
In the summer, you can dine out on our summer terrace overlooking the beautiful Lake Mallasvesi.
Walentina is available for special events upon request. The large, open restaurant seats up to 350 people. Walentina often provides a stage for Finland’s most popular bands and artists. Year after year, this great, traditional venue attracts the crowds for live music. The artists and bands that perform at Walentina play all kinds of music, with an emphasis on pop and rock.

Valkeakoski’s versatile leisure activities, all within easy reach of Hotel Waltikka, are truly beyond compare.

Only 20 minutes drive from the hotel is Scandinavia’s largest shopping center Ideapark. From Valkeakoski you can also take a direct bus line to Ideapark.

In the summer, you can play tennis, volleyball, padel and minigolf right here at the hotel. Jogging paths in the most beautiful surroundings start almost from the front door. Those craving for indoor activities will love the sports centre, located just a short walk from the hotel.
If you are in search of peace and tranquility, the nearby lake offers great opportunities for angling. In the summer you can cool off at the nearby beach.
In the winter, you could take out our ice-fishing equipment onto the lake.

The excellent sports and exercise facilities in Valkeakoski are famous throughout Finland and abroad.
The sports facilities located in the immediate vicinity of Waltikka are ideal for sports clubs: the Wareena Ice Arena, Kerhomaja Sports Centre and Apia Sports Hall are located just a short walk from the hotel. In addition, Korkeakangas Ski Centre is only five kilometres from the hotel. Ask us for more information.
Athletes from Finnish figure skaters to Continental Hockey League teams have chosen Valkeakoski and Hotel Waltikka as their summer training venue. For this reason, we have paid particular attention to the needs of athletes from many disciplines in everything we do at our hotel. In addition, our restaurant caters to the needs of athletes by arranging special meals for match days upon request.
